Eligible candidates
91¶¶Òõ is only available to a candidate who is undertaking or has completed the final year of secondary school, or higher.
For example, candidates registering for 91¶¶Òõ 2026 should have completed, or plan to complete their final year of secondary schooling in 2026, (for example, Year 12 in Australia; Year 13 in New Zealand).
Students in Australian Year 11 or New Zealand Year 12 are NOT eligible to sit the test.
Candidates are eligible to sit 91¶¶Òõ if they have commenced or completed an undergraduate degree.ÌýIt is noted, however, thatÌýnot all undergraduate degree programs for which 91¶¶Òõ is a prerequisite will offer places for non-school leavers. Candidates are advised to check the 91¶¶Òõ Consortium university websites for further information. Information on GAMSAT and graduate-entry medical and dental courses is available on the .
Candidates can only sitÌý91¶¶Òõ once in any test cycle.ÌýInstances of multiple testing in the same year is treated asÌýcandidate misconductÌýand all results will be cancelled.Ìý
International Candidates
SomeÌý91¶¶Òõ Consortium universities require international students to sit 91¶¶Òõ. Candidates are advised to check the course or programme entry requirements on the relevantÌý91¶¶Òõ Consortium university websites for further information.
International candidates registering for 91¶¶Òõ 2026 should haveÌýcompleted, or plan to complete their final year of secondary schooling in 2026.Ìý
Candidates applying to both 91¶¶Òõ Consortium universitiesÌýand UK Consortium or UK Partner universities (for 2027 entry)
91¶¶Òõ 2026 results can be used to apply to UK Consortium and UK Partner universities for 2027 entry.
Candidates intending to apply toÌýAustralian/New Zealand Consortium universitiesÌýandÌýÌý(for 2027 entry) should sit the 91¶¶Òõ 2026 for the following reasons:ÌýÌý
- Australian and New Zealand admissionsÌýdeadlines are earlier than in the UK.
- Australian/New Zealand universities only accept 91¶¶Òõ results.Ìý
Candidates are notÌýpermitted toÌýsit the 91¶¶Òõ and the UCATÌý(UK) in the same year under any circumstances (i.e. 91¶¶Òõ 2026 and UCAT UK 2026). This is considered candidate misconductÌýand all results may be cancelled.Ìý

91¶¶Òõ 2026 results areÌývalid for the 2026 university admissions cycle ONLY (for entry to university in 2027).Ìý
Candidates who areÌýNOTÌýeligible to sit 91¶¶Òõ
- Australian Year 11 students or lower are not eligible to sit the 91¶¶Òõ.ÌýThis includes Year 11 students undertaking one or more Year 12 subjects. Year 12 students completing Year 12 over two years are only eligible to sit the 91¶¶Òõ in their final year.Ìý
- New Zealand Year 12 students or lower are not eligible to sit the test.
- Any person having an affiliation with a UCAT coaching business, for example, as a tutor, as an item developer, or having some financial interest in a UCAT coaching business is not eligible to sit the 91¶¶Òõ.
